Our retreats are back for 2026

Join us for guided meditation, mindful movement, walking, forest bathing, wild picnics in beautiful places and of course, indulgent, home-grown food.

Introducing The Wild and Mindful Retreat, led by Mountaineer, Guide and Teacher of Resilience Krish Thapa

Throughout 2026 we will once again be running a series of our popular reset retreats with ex-SAS Mountaineer and spiritual guide Krish Thapa, providing guided meditations, forest bathing, walking and award-winning food.

The three-night retreats are suitable for everyone, including those who have never tried meditation before, and will offer a peaceful, nurturing and nourishing three-night escape – a perfect chance to reset.

As with everything we do here at Askham Hall, food is very much at the heart of our retreats and you’ll get to enjoy our home-reared and home-grown produce in the form of abundant breakfasts, wild picnics, a tasting menu at our Michelin starred restaurant Allium, a cosy dinner at The Queen’s head and a relaxed supper in our private dining room.

Find out more about Krish

You’ll stay in one of our historic bedrooms, each individual and full of character, and you can enjoy your own time by the fire with one of our books, wandering our gardens, however you like.

Krish is an incredibly special person and his quiet guidance, personal stories and gentle kindness make him the perfect person to lead our retreats. His experience and remarkable accomplishments speak for themselves.
