As its name suggests, this room was once the nursery and playroom for the Earl and Countess’ children, Charles and Marie-Louisa, who now run Askham Hall. Located in our 17th Century wing and overlooking the courtyard and old stable block, the Old Playroom is a light and airy room with a king size bed, 17th Century original fireplace, desk and reading area and a spacious bathroom complete with modern walk in drench shower, wash basin and WC.
